Position: Process Engineering Expert - Visual Reasoning Benchmark
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$85/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Source genuine professional artifacts like PFDs, P&IDs, control-loop diagrams, and plant layouts.
• Author benchmark problems that test AI models' reasoning over engineering visuals.
• Determine concise and unambiguous final answers for each problem.
• Write step-by-step worked solutions at a professional level.
• Tag each problem with domain, artifact type, skill tested, and difficulty.
• Collaborate with domain experts for independent review of problems.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience reading real process engineering artifacts.
• Expertise in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Energy sectors.
