Job Description

AlignOps is seeking an Associate Integration Technician (Contract) to support a large-scale customer integration modernization initiative. In this customer-facing role, you will guide clients through migrating from legacy software integrations to the AlignOps native integration platform, ensuring a seamless transition and delivering exceptional client service. You will own migration activities from initial outreach and scheduling through technical implementation, troubleshooting, and post-migration validation. While primarily focused on the QuickBooks Online (QBO) migration, you may also assist with client migrations across other core platforms in our work stack, including Foundation, Sage Intacct, Viewpoint Vista, and Spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Client Migration Management
    • Coordinate and schedule migration meetings with existing clients, ensuring project timelines and migration targets are met.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the migration process, guiding clients through technical requirements and next steps.
  • Technical Implementation & Troubleshooting
    • Execute client migrations from legacy QuickBooks Online integrations to AlignOps' native integration platform.
    • Diagnose and resolve connection, configuration, authentication, and data synchronization issues encountered during implementation.
    • Monitor integration performance and validate successful data flow following migration completion.
  •  Issue Tracking & Escalation
    • Document technical issues, edge cases, and defects through detailed Jira tickets.
    • Escalate complex issues to Engineering and cross-functional teams while providing sufficient reproduction details and client context.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management:
    • Maintain and enhance internal and external documentation.
    • Identify process improvements, contributing integration "good-to-knows," tips, or recurring issues to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Cross-Platform and Client Support
    • Maintain an empathetic, client-centric approach during migration calls, ensuring smooth technical transitions while delivering a high-quality client experience.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and ensure successful implementation.
    • Periodically support client migrations and implementation efforts across additional ERP platforms, including Foundation, Sage Intacct, Viewpoint Vista, and Spectrum, as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Strong computer literacy with the ability to move fluidly between multiple software applications, spreadsheets, and databases with ease and precision.
    • Experience working with collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Jira, etc.) and ability to quickly master new internal technical workflows, software systems, and data-migration processes.
    • Strong hands-on experience using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel) to track, organize, and manage client data sets.
    • Basic understanding of data hygiene and validation, ensuring that migrated information is organized, structured correctly, and free of errors.
    • Keen attention to detail to ensure seamless data flow, accurate documentation updates, and error-free client configurations.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead interactive Zoom meetings and phone calls seamlessly. Demonstrate a polished, professional on-camera presence and the technical aptitude to navigate screen-sharing and live troubleshooting with clients.
    • Ability to think critically and troubleshoot software connection or configuration issues methodically.
  • Preferred
    • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.
    • Experience supporting software implementations, onboarding projects, or data migrations.
    • Familiarity with construction accounting, ERP systems, or related software platforms such as Sage, Foundation, Viewpoint, or Spectrum.
    • Experience working in SaaS, technical support, implementation, customer success, or integration-focused roles.
