Job description


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM CST
Includes 1-hour lunch break (8-hour shift)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Virtual Assistant to support the Collections Department. In this role, you will assist with customer follow-ups, payment reminders, and general collections support while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach in all client interactions.

This position is ideal for someone with prior collections experience who is comfortable communicating with customers in a clear and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Collections Department with day-to-day administrative and customer communication tasks
  • Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment follow-ups
  • Provide clear and professional communication regarding billing and collections matters
  • Document customer interactions and update payment status accurately
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and service charges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate collections processes

Requirements

  • Prior experience in collections or a related customer-facing financial support role
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle sensitive payment conversations professionally and confidently
  • Familiarity with service-based industries (e.g., restoration, cleaning, water/flood damage, or property repairs) is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
