Job description
E-Commerce Manager Turning Point Brands Canada Location: Remote, Canada ( some travel to Head Office may be required from time to time) Reports to: Director, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 base + bonus
TPB Canada operates in the Canadian cannabis lifestyle essentials market, running established and growing e-commerce operations across B2B wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. This is a real business with real volume, and this role is the execution engine that keeps it moving.
Alongside the core business, we are launching Fusion, a ready-to-drink protein shot brand built around convenience, clean nutrition, and a product that genuinely does something different. Fusion adds an exciting new dimension to this role: a new DTC and retail channel, a new consumer audience, and the energy of building something from the ground up while the established business runs alongside it.
We need an E-Commerce Manager who can hold both realities at once. Someone who runs disciplined execution across existing operations without losing the curiosity and adaptability that a new brand launch demands.
You will work within a defined team structure, with clear direction from leadership and a collaborative team around you. The environment moves at pace and priorities evolve, but you will not be left to figure things out alone. The people who thrive here are ones who bring structure to complexity and take ownership without needing to be pushed.
About Turning Point Brands Canada
TPB Canada is a high-growth consumer products business operating at the intersection of brand building, distribution, eCommerce, and regulated and emerging markets. We develop and grow a portfolio of category-leading products with a strong focus on cannabis accessories and adjacent consumer segments.
The environment is entrepreneurial and intentionally low on politics. Ownership is real, autonomy is real, and accountability is clear. Ideas are encouraged, people are trusted to take initiatives from concept through execution, and mistakes are treated as part of the process. Leadership is hands-on and accessible.
For people who want to move quickly, build something meaningful, and grow fast in a respectful high-performance environment, this is the right place.
What You'll Own
Delivery & Execution
Own and maintain the 2026 e-commerce project tracker across B2B and priority D2C initiatives including Fusion
Translate strategic direction and roadmaps into clear tasks, timelines, and ownership
Run weekly execution cadences and proactively unblock dependencies
Ensure both lights-on changes and roadmap initiatives are delivered on time and to standard
Maintain continuity across shifting priorities, roadmap cycles, and platform changes
Vendor & Partner Coordination
Coordinate day-to-day execution with external partners including developers, SEO partners, and affiliate, email, and content vendors
Manage tickets, briefs, timelines, QA, and follow-ups
Escalate risks, trade-offs, or delays early with options and context rather than surprises
On-Site & Campaign Execution
Oversee merchandising updates, promotions, PDP readiness, and campaign launches
Ensure inputs from content, marketing, sales, and compliance are complete before launch
Partner closely with the E-Commerce team to ensure clean Shopify builds and thorough QA
Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as the execution bridge between E-Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT
Reinforce shared SLAs, processes, and expectations across teams
Support Sales and Operations with reliable site updates, tools, and documentation
AI & Workflow Improvement
Use AI tools to improve the speed and quality of execution workflows, including vendor briefing, QA documentation, status reporting, and cross-functional communication
Identify and implement automation opportunities across operational and reporting processes
Bring a continuous improvement mindset to how the team works, not just what the team delivers
Maintain operational dashboards and delivery status reporting
Provide clean, structured inputs into monthly executive reporting
Track progress against defined KPIs without owning forecasting or long-term strategy
Who This Role Is For
This role is a strong fit if you bring the following.
Experience
3 to 6 years in e-commerce, digital operations, or project management
Strong working knowledge of Shopify, with B2B and/or multi-site experience considered an asset
Experience coordinating vendors, agencies, or development partners
Comfort working with analytics, dashboards, and operational reporting
Clear, proactive communicator who raises issues early and constructively
Mindset
Beyond the functional experience, we are looking for a specific kind of person.
You have worked in a company where not everything was built yet and you preferred it that way
You bring structure to complexity rather than waiting for structure to arrive
You are a doer: you execute, you follow through, and you close loops
You are commercially minded and understand that e-commerce exists to drive revenue, not just ship updates
You are as comfortable figuring something out for the first time as executing something established
You are actively using AI tools in your day-to-day work and looking for more ways to apply them
Language
Full professional proficiency in English required
French proficiency considered a strong asset
Why Join TPB Canada
You will own the execution of an established, growing ecommerce operation in the cannabis lifestyle essentials space, and you will be part of launching Fusion from the ground up. Both matter. Both are moving at the same time.
You will have genuine autonomy, a direct line to leadership, and the ability to shape how e-commerce operates at a company that is still building. The scope is broad, the impact is visible, and the team is small enough that your contribution is never invisible.
If you want to be one of many on a large team executing a defined process, this is probably not the right role. If you want to build, own, and grow
