Job description

MUST BE IN THE DFW AREA OR WILLING TO RELOCATE

1) Performs both as trainer and facilitator for clinical and non-clinical training for employees. Provides training programs including clinical skills for allergy clinic operations, clinical protocols, and processes, as well as operational and administrative clinic processes as per the UAS allergy center cycle.  

2) Utilizes and ensures competence delivering training in multiple mediums including but not limited to live classroom, virtual, e-learning, internal and external software solutions and coordinating learning in more than one medium from time-to-time.

  

3) Coordinates and delivers complex and complete learning solutions (to include instructor-led sessions, virtual instructor-led sessions, e-learning courses, and training resources) using the best mediums to match subject matter and training objectives while applying appropriate learning principles and design techniques.  

4) Conducts assessment and evaluation of learning activities within and external to the classroom or learning environment to ensure learning effectiveness and learner capabilities meet UAS requirements.

5) Provides coordination of the day-to-day teaching activities of multi-week learning programs and sessions, which may occur simultaneously, as well as coordination of multiple assigned projects, communication status updates to learners or management regarding learning plans.  

6) Coordinates and ensures readiness of training program documentation needed for learners, management, and the business in a timely manner and prior to the start of training programs.  

 

7) Learns and fully utilizes e-learning LMS and HCM systems and authoring tools to deliver asynchronous training to all learners and ensures learning, as assigned, is completed in a timely manner 

 

8) Collaborates with learning and development team members to design, develop, schedule, and launch the most effective training programs for UAS employees.  

 

9) Skillfully oversees all assigned virtual and classroom delivery and ensures a successful and professional learning environment exists. Manages conversations in learning environments to ensure professional, respectful, and meet UAS standards 

10) Ensures training delivery continuously achieves the most successful outcome possible and learning is modified or adjusted to allow additional practice or study sessions, when needed to ensure all learners have the best chance of course success regardless of prior background or initial skill level.  

11) Communicates and coordinates with both the learning team and their Account Manager for coordination of schedules when supporting learning and when supporting field operations. Maintains their schedule and stays apprised of learning needs and Fields needs that impact their schedule.  

12) Understands and maintains all essential functions outlined in the United Allergy Services Job Description Role: Clinical Allergy Specialist.  

Preferred Educational Background: 

External Candidates: Bachelor’s degree in business, adult education, instructional design, or related field, along with three or more years of clinical direct training experience 

Internal Candidates: A bachelor’s degree and at least 12 months of experience working in a field CAS role at United Allergy Services preferably as a Sr. CAS. Candidates with precepting or onboarding lead experience are preferred.

Preferred Background & Expertise: Experience teaching complex clinical and non-clinical learning content, organizing, and managing learning courses, systems, and attendees. Ability to juggle multiple priorities, with competing deadlines. Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced learning-focused and business environment; Ability to be thorough, practicable and consistent with solutions that meet organizational objectives. Strong public speaking, ability to provide instruction and direction to students, organization, and presentation skills. 

 
Preferred Applicable Experience: Experience in adult learning principles and conducting activity in a structured learning life cycle. Experience in a direct patient facing clinical environment.  

Travel Time: Approximately 50%
