Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and evaluate learning solutions that align to business needs, learner requirements and appropriate instructional strategies across instructor-led, virtual, digital, blended and performance support formats
  • Lead the analysis, design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of multiple learning initiatives simultaneously, managing competing priorities and timelines
  • Consult with stakeholders to assess learning needs, synthesize complex information and translate content into clear, engaging and instructionally sound learning experiences and support materials
  • Create high-quality learning content and supporting materials across multiple formats, including job aids, facilitator guides, learner materials, eLearning modules and performance support resources
  • Develop visually effective learning assets, storyboards, graphics, diagrams, simulations and multimedia elements that enhance comprehension, engagement and learner experience
  • Recommend and apply the most effective mix of learning modalities, including instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, blended learning and on-the-job support tools
  • Research, evaluate and recommend innovative learning approaches, emerging technologies and modern design practices to continuously enhance learning effectiveness, engagement, accessibility and scalability
  • Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, accessibility considerations and learner-centered design practices in all learning solutions
  • Use learner feedback, data and business input to evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external learning partners, technology providers, subject matter experts and key stakeholders
  • Develop a strong understanding of MNP’s services, business priorities and industry context to ensure learning solutions are relevant, practical and aligned to business outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning design processes, tools and standards and contribute fresh ideas that drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree, diploma or certification in instructional design, adult education, learning and development, educational technology or a related field
  • Ability to communicate in French and English is preferred (both written and verbal)
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in instructional design, training development or learning experience design
  • Experience designing and developing eLearning solutions for adult learners using interactive and multimedia approaches
  • Proficiency with authoring and content development tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Camtasia, Vyond and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with learning management systems and digital learning environments is considered an asset
  • Experience designing learning solutions within professional services, corporate learning or other complex business environments is considered an asset
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
  • Strong writing and content design skills, with the ability to create clear, concise and learner-focused materials
  • Experience in professional services, corporate learning or other complex business environments is considered an asset
