JOB SUMMARY

Acrisure is seeking a Claims Service Coordinator to support the claims team by performing a variety of administrative, customer service, and claims support activities. This role plays an important part in helping claims professionals manage files efficiently while ensuring timely communication and accurate documentation throughout the claims process.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, helping others, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Prior claims experience is beneficial, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a desire to build a career within the insurance industry.

This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to claims operations, legal processes, medical coordination, and customer support while building valuable insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to claims professionals and claims operations teams
  • Prepare files and documentation for legal defense referrals, subpoenas, and claim-related requests
  • Prepare and distribute various letters, reports, and forms
  • Schedule physician appointments and coordinate related correspondence and records
  • Organize, review, and prepare records for utilization review, legal review, and other claim-related activities
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and assist with claim-related questions
  • Make outbound calls to gather information and follow up on outstanding items
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within claims systems
  • Assist with file organization and document management activities
  • Support departmental projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service, administrative, clerical, or office experience beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional and positive approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and insurance concepts
  • Experience working in insurance, healthcare, legal support, or claims environments beneficial

Education and Licenses

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional education, training, or industry experience beneficial

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
