Verita AI is building a marketplace platform that connects domain experts with high-paying AI data training opportunities for leading AI labs. The product includes marketplace infrastructure, expert routing, ranking systems, gamification, contributor progression, and operational tooling. Recently raised a $6M seed round led by Kindred Ventures. Engineering team is primarily Europe-based with SF leadership presence.

About the Role

This is a front-end-leaning full-stack engineering role with end-to-end ownership across a fast-growing two-sided marketplace platform. You will own features from architecture through production, working closely with product, design, and ops teams.

What You'll Own

End-to-end feature ownership across frontend and backend systems
Frontend development with deep React and modern frontend tooling
Backend development using Django or equivalent frameworks (FastAPI, Rails, or similar)
PostgreSQL database design including indexing, transactions, and query optimization
Performance optimization and debugging across the full stack
Cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and ops teams

Requirements

3–5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
Front-end-leaning technical profile with strong React and modern frontend depth
Django or equivalent backend framework experience (FastAPI, Rails, or similar)
PostgreSQL fundamentals including indexing, transactions, and optimization
