THE OPPORTUNITY
The Junior Buyer on the Purchasing team will be an enthusiastic, detail driven, self-starter who plays a key role in keeping products and materials moving. You will support purchasing activities from request to delivery, partner closely with internal teams and suppliers, and bring curiosity, organization, and a problem-solving mindset to every order. HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Purchasing: Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring all information is accurate and submitted on time.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate purchasing activities and communicate early and often with internal teams and suppliers to support smooth order execution.
- Supplier Relationships: Work and build strong relationships with suppliers to communicate pricing, product availability and delivery schedules that assist in meeting customer expectations. Resolve all defective or unacceptable shipments with vendors to completion with the customer and Iron Bow in mind.
- Negotiate: Support negotiations with vendors to help secure competitive pricing and capture additional margin for the company.
- Strategic Sourcing: Partner with Strategic Alliance, research and review supplier product offering and line cards to help identify the best sources.
- Monitor: Daily review of open orders and expedite shipments when needed to meet business demands, as well as proper and timely receiving of PO’s for revenue recognition.
- Optimize: Look for opportunities to improve processes, reduce cost, and add value through smart buying decisions.
- The Daily: You will be right in the middle of the action, keeping product moving, suppliers aligned, and internal teams informed. Your day will revolve around managing a busy purchase order backlog, making sure orders are placed accurately, received on time, and followed through from start to finish.
- Every day, you'll engage in our fantastic Purchasing team, fostering a close-knit work environment. This role is fast paced, detail-driven, and highly collaborative, perfect for someone who enjoys problem solving, building vendor relationships, and learning the ins and outs of purchasing while making a real impact every day.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT DRIVES SUCCESS
- Bachelor degree and up to 2 years purchasing experience. Experience can be substituted for education.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience working with Oracle EBS or Fusion

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INFORMATION;
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000/annually. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
