CDI Specialist (Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist)
Remote
6 months contract wit possible extension

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Clinical Documentation Meets Quality And Regulatory Standards; Working With Medical Professionals To Clarify Documentation.
Skills: Clinical Knowledge, Attention To Detail, Knowledge Of Healthcare Compliance.

Required Experience
* 2–5 years of CDI experience
* Candidates with less than 6 years of experience preferred
* RNs with CDI experience are eligible

Technical Requirements
* Experience with CDI software
* Experience with EMR systems
* Strong knowledge of Epic
* Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system

Key Responsibilities
* Review and improve clinical documentation
* Ensure accurate DRG assignment for patients
* Work independently with minimal supervision
