Job Title:

Product Quality Engineer II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Quality Engineer II to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases while driving continuous improvements in test automation, performance testing, and quality engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create effective test strategies and test plans.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using modern automation tools.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Execute API testing and validate integrations between internal and third-party systems.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and stability.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
  • Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and provide release recommendations.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices across teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Test Automation: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress
  • Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
  • API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Swagger
  • Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, k6
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Defect Tracking: Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla
  • Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • AI Tools: Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks.
  • Experience with API, database, and performance testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience validating cloud-based and microservices architectures is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software testing and test case generation.
  • Understanding of security testing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with containerized applications and microservices.
