We believe that our diverse teams and strong company culture are key to the success of our products and technologies, that hundreds of millions of users around the world and around 645,000 customers across all industries rely on. With more than 1,900 employees worldwide, we celebrate the unique perspectives and talents that each individual brings to the table and foster a dynamic work environment where new ideas thrive. Are you ready to join our team and make an impact?

The Value Engineer is a strategic, customer-facing role responsible for building a credible and measurable case for change and investment in TeamViewer ONE. Working with Account Directors, Solution Engineering, customers, and executive stakeholders, the Value Engineer connects business priorities and operational challenges to quantified outcomes, financial impact, and clear success measures.

The role leads the presales value process from Business Value Framework (BVF) alignment through Business Value Assessment (BVA), executive business-case review, and preparation of the accepted Value Plan for formal transition to the DEXOps Solution Consultant and post-sales teams.

  • BVF and Value Discovery: Partner with Account Directors and Solution Engineering to identify the customer initiative, strategic priorities, current-state challenges, urgency, desired outcomes, success criteria, and initial value hypothesis.

  • BVA Delivery: Review self-service assessments and lead full, customer-specific BVAs when deeper discovery, customer data, multiple value pillars, executive alignment, or financial justification are required.

  • Business Case and ROI: Develop transparent value models using customer data, established benchmarks, and conservative assumptions. Quantify expected outcomes, return on investment, and the cost of inaction.

  • Data and Assumption Validation: Establish baseline metrics, assess data readiness, identify gaps, document assumptions and risks, and work with operational, executive, and financial validators.

  • Executive Value Communication: Facilitate customer workshops and present the value hypothesis, quantified business case, findings, and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.

  • Value Plan Development: Document validated priorities, baseline metrics, target outcomes, sponsors, data owners, assumptions, risks, and agreed measures of success in a customer-accepted Value Plan.

  • Proof-of-Value Alignment: Connect BVA outcomes to demonstrations and proofs of value so technical validation measures the business outcomes that matter.

  • Formal Transition: Prepare the accepted BVA and Value Plan for handoff to the DEXOps Solution Consultant, Customer Success, Professional Services, TAM, and other accountable post-sales owners.

  • Sales Enablement: Enable Sales and Solution Engineering to use the BVF and self-service BVA consistently, including effective discovery, value positioning, and conservative use of assumptions.

  • Methodology and Quality: Maintain value-engineering tools, templates, benchmarks, and quality standards while incorporating lessons from Business Value Reviews into future assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software value engineering, business consulting, solution consulting, financial analysis, or a comparable customer-facing presales role.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead executive discovery and create credible business cases, financial models, ROI analyses, and outcome-based recommendations.

  • Experience analyzing operational and service-management data, establishing baselines, identifying value drivers, and validating assumptions.

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities and complex data into clear business outcomes for executive, financial, operational, and technical audiences.

  • Strong workshop facilitation, executive presentation, written communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple strategic engagements, challenge unsupported assumptions, and work effectively across Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, TAM, Product, and Finance.

  • Experience with SaaS, cloud platforms, digital employee experience, IT operations, service management, automation, or enterprise software.

  • Familiarity with value-selling methodologies, CRM systems, and business-value platforms such as ValueCore.

  • Experience supporting proofs of value, executive business-case reviews, and formal presales-to-post-sales handoffs.

  • Relevant value-engineering, finance, cloud, IT service management, or consulting certifications.
