Job description

About the Role at RobCo

At RobCo, we develop AI-powered robotic systems that make industrial processes more autonomous, efficient, and scalable. Our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combines modular industrial hardware with physical AI, enabling rapid deployment and continuous optimization in real production environments.

With locations in Munich, San Francisco, and Austin, and backed by leading investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, we are working to redefine industrial automation.

At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.

You are part of our revenue team and actively drive the new customer pipeline. You independently build relationships with potential clients, qualify accounts, and turn market potential into concrete sales opportunities. With a data-driven and performance-oriented approach, you directly shape the growth of RobCo in Germany and make a significant contribution to the team’s success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contact Specialist:
You initiate first contact with potential customers and identify the right decision-makers.

  • Sales Professional:
You generate new sales opportunities and work strategically within a dynamic marketing landscape.

  • Relationship Manager:
You build and maintain relationships in line with RobCo’s Operating Principles and ensure a smooth handover to the Field Sales team.

  • Team Player:
You collaborate closely with other departments and support our campaigns to optimize the overall sales strategy.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a comparable performance-driven role. You have experience in direct customer interaction and are motivated to actively contribute to building and growing the revenue team.

  • Results-driven: You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding prospecting and outreach quotas.

  • Technology enthusiast: You have a strong interest in robotics or the manufacturing industry.

  • Customer-focused: You are a natural networker who builds trusted customer relationships and understands the importance of excellent customer engagement.

  • Strong communicator: You possess excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Why join RobCo?

  • Develop modular, software-defined robotics solutions with us that set new standards in automation.

  • Help us build robots equipped with state-of-the-art AI that perceive their environment, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions in real time.

  • As part of a very dynamic and fast-growing scale-up, you will take on responsibility from day one, drive your own projects, and see the direct impact of your work.

  • Flat hierarchies, open communication, and regular 360° feedback enable fast decisions and support your professional and personal development.

  • Work out across Germany in over 7,200 studios with our subsidized Wellpass membership.

  • Flexible working hours, a modern office, and—depending on the role—the option to work from home.

  • Regular team events—from relaxed beer & pizza nights on the rooftop terrace to shared experiences on ski trips or at Oktoberfest.
