The Opportunity

We're building out our India cohort and looking for high-performing investment banking associates in Bangalore to join as AI Residents. This is a chance to apply your bulge-bracket training to a problem set that didn't exist five years ago: teaching frontier AI to reason like a banker.

You will:

• Prompt: Build realistic, deal-relevant scenarios, the kind of work you'd assign to a first-year analyst, and test AI outputs against the standards of a real deal team.

• Compare human vs. machine judgment: Identify where AI reasoning breaks down on valuation, accounting nuance, and transaction structuring.

• Design frameworks: Translate banker intuition; how you stress assumptions, navigate ambiguity in financials, and pressure-test management projections, into problems that challenge frontier AI.

• Construct expert benchmarks: Build and annotate real-world DCFs, LBOs, comps, and live deal cases used to evaluate AI systems.

Who You Are

• 3–4+ years of IB or Corporate Finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory).

• Associate level; sector agnostic.

• Strong mode;ling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents).

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

• Real intellectual curiosity about AI in finance.

Residency Structure

• Commitment: Minimum 30+ hours/week, flexible scheduling

• Location: Bangalore-based, fully remote

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

• Start date: Immediate / Rolling
