This is a critical role for the next phase of Elliptic’s growth. You will help build out scalable systems, processes and workflows to ensure finance has the foundations to scale. Not only that, but you’ll build on top of those foundations - creating a world class finance function.

What you will do:

  • Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring a clean and efficient year-end audit process.

  • Treasury & Cash Management: Monitor liquidity, manage banking relationships, and implement automated cash flow tracking.

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, filling talent gaps as the business scales.

What you will achieve in the first 6 months:

  • ERP Migration & Systems Launch: Lead the transition to a new ERP. Your focus will be on data cleansing, ensuring historical invoice data transfers accurately, and setting up automated approval workflows.

  • Chart of Accounts (CoA) Review: Redesign the CoA to support granular reporting by department and geography, ensuring it aligns with SaaS-specific revenue recognition standards.

  • Aged Debt Mitigation: Conduct a deep-dive aged debt analysis and implement a proactive "Order-to-Cash" (O2C) policy to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve working capital.

  • FY26 Audit Preparedness: Establish an audit timeline, standardise documentation for technical accounting positions (e.g., revenue recognition, stock-based comp), and resolve legacy reconciliation issues.
