Kardex Remstar is seeking a visionary Global Life Cycle Service (LCS) Strategic & Transformation Director (m/f/d) to elevate after-sales into a primary value and profit engine for the business unit. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this is a high impact leadership role with full global accountability for driving service strategy, accelerating recurring revenue growth, and delivering a step-change fundamental transformation in customer lifecycle value.

This role is central to achieving Kardex Remstar’s ambitious growth trajectory—contributing significantly to our €1.2B ambition by 2030.

As office base we can offer Madrid, Lisbon or our German sites such as Bellheim or Neuburg a.d. Kammel.

Your tasks

As Global Life Cycle Service Strategy & Transformation Director (m/f/d), you will transform our service business into a high growth, customer centric, digitally enabled organization that delivers:

  • Drive Growth and Commercial Excellence
    Lead the global LCS growth strategy to achieve 15% CAGR, strengthen service sales through upselling and lifecycle monetisation, and expand recurring revenue models.

  • Transform the Service Business Model
    Shift towards proactive, predictive, and outcome-based services while scaling digital offerings such as remote services and performance-based contracts.

  • Maximise Spare Parts as a Profit Driver
    Manage the global spare parts business to enhance profitability through optimised pricing, improved availability, and expanded e-commerce channels.

  • Build Global Capabilities and Enable Regional Execution
    Strengthen central functions (pricing, digital platforms, CRM, training) while empowering regional teams with clear targets, governance, and best practices.

  • Enhance Customer Value and Deliver Measurable Impact
    Increase customer retention, service penetration, and lifetime value, while achieving strong financial, commercial, digital, and customer performance metrics.
     

You will act as the global integrator across regions, central functions, and commercial teams—ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence in execution.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in leading global strategy and transformation within a complex, matrix organisation

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth, profitability and recurring business models

  • Demonstrated success in digital transformation and service innovation, particularly within industrial or technology-driven environments

  • Ability to translate strategy into execution, delivering measurable business impact across regions and functions

  • Highly influential leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and a data-driven, results-oriented mindset
