Summary
As a Product Regulatory Specialist, you will leverage your experience and contribute to the compliance of Simplotβs pesticide and adjuvant product portfolios. This role supports a broad range of day-to-day regulatory activities and broader business initiatives. With a customer-focused approach and keen attention to details, you will maintain critical product data, obtain product registrations, generate Safety Data Sheets and regulatory documents, engage with internal and external customers, and advise leadership on regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory: Ensures products meet all state, federal, and international regulatory requirements through accurate submissions, compliant documentation, and active participation in the regulatory compliance and stewardship team.
Product & Labeling: Maintains compliant product labeling and safety documentation, safeguarding accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory standards.
Registration Support: Partners with multiple business units to support product development, registration, and lifecycle management across domestic and international markets. Support state registrations and state renewals for all Agribusiness products.
Data Accuracy: Ensures regulatory data accuracy and supports scientific validation of product compliance.
Collaboration: Actively contributes to team initiatives, provides feedback, and supports continuous improvement in regulatory processes and business practices.
Typical Education
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from 4-year college or university
Relevant Experience
5+ years related experience and/or training

Regulatory Compliance often presents a high degree of variability between tasks. To be a good fit for this role, you will require strong time management skills, an exceeding attention to detail, and the willingness to take on new and challenging concepts. You will also demonstrate:
- General understanding and knowledge of domestic fertilizer regulations.
- Skilled support for technical writing and document management.
- Basic skills with MS Excel and data reporting to maintain and interpret data (training available).
- Proven use of critical thinking skills to solve problems and gather data for regulatory document preparation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, contributing to team activities and projects.
- Strong time management skills, meeting deadlines and communicating technical issues and concerns.
- Ability to engage internal and external customers for support and maintenance; escalating as needed.
- Experience working collaboratively and independently in support of team eο¬orts.
- Ability to perform work assigned by others and provide time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.
- Self-motivation, customer-focus, and attention to detail.
