Job description

This is a remote position.

Negentrix Holding is an educational company with a mission to help people integrate into Germany through practical education and employment.

We operate three schools — IT Career Hub, DWW Akademie, and Beam Institute of Technology — where we train students for in-demand professions and support them all the way from choosing their career path to securing their first job.

Our audience consists of people for whom German is not their native language, but Germany is their new home. We know how to help them become part of society and succeed professionally.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative atmosphere, where every team member is valued and makes a meaningful contribution to the success of our company.

Our team is made up of highly qualified EdTech professionals who bring their knowledge and experience to create superior educational programs and inspire our students.

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join the DWW Akademie team.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop training programs in accounting, HR, and other office-based professions for adult learners starting a new career in Germany;

  • Create learning experiences that help adult students confidently transition into a new profession and prepare for employment in the German job market;

  • act as the owner of the educational program: define the instructional strategy of the course, make decisions regarding its development, and ensure that students achieve the intended learning outcomes;

  • Work closely with subject-matter experts (German speakers): conduct interviews and co-create webinar scripts, presentations, and methodological materials for instructors and students;

  • Develop course components such as tests, assignments, texts, long reads, and other educational content formats;

  • Define quality standards for educational programs and approaches to assessing learning outcomes;

Provide ongoing methodological support and continuously improve our educational products based on feedback, data, and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an instructional designer or methodologist;

  • Excellent command of Russian (C2);

  • German language proficiency at C1 level;

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles (backward design, learner-centered approaches, learning experience design);

  • Interest in modern trends in instructional and learning design, with the ability to apply them in practice;

  • Research skills, including the ability to analyze target audiences and create learner profiles;

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts and extract knowledge through interviews and joint work;

  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and attention to the needs of adult learners;

  • Ability to work collaboratively, justify design decisions, and find creative solutions;

  • Readiness to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and handle large volumes of information.

A strong plus

  • Experience designing programs and materials that combine professional content with language development (CLIL approach).

Benefits

  • 100% remote work from anywhere in the world;

  • Full-time position. Working hours: 10:00–19:00 (Berlin time);

  • Salary: €1,500–2,000 per month;

  • Paid vacation days and sick leave allowance;

  • Space to bring your ideas to life — we truly listen to our team.

And much more!
