The Logistics Analyst will support logistics, procurement, property control, inventory accountability, and operational data management for approximately 130 geographically dispersed locations across the United States. This role reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and provides comprehensive analytical, administrative, and project support across key logistics functions, including procurement coordination, invoice reconciliation, inventory management, FAR/FMR compliance support, standard operating procedure development, vendor coordination, funds expenditure tracking, and operational reporting.
This position serves as a critical support role for maintaining continuity of logistics operations across a high-volume, multi-site environment. In the absence of the Senior Logistics Manager, the Logistics Analyst may serve as the primary point of contact for routine logistics coordination, issue tracking, reporting, and operational follow-up to ensure timely decision-making and continuity of support.
The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, data accuracy, compliance discipline, and the ability to coordinate with internal departments, site personnel, vendors, property custodians, facilities teams, finance, and corporate global supply chain partners. The Logistics Analyst will ensure adherence to company policies, quality assurance requirements, environmental health and safety standards, procurement procedures, property accountability requirements, and applicable regulatory guidance.
Position Accountabilities:
Analyze procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, purchasing trends, spend data, order accuracy, delivery timelines, and invoice activity. Develop reports, dashboards, and leadership summaries to support data-driven decision-making, process improvement, budget visibility, and operational accountability.
Monitor purchasing activity in coordination with the Senior Logistics Manager to ensure requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable actions are accurate, timely, properly coded, and aligned with approved funding, contract terms, and internal approval requirements.
Review, verify, and reconcile invoices against contracts, purchase orders, receiving documentation, delivery records, and vendor submissions to ensure billing accuracy, prevent duplicate payments, identify discrepancies, and reduce the risk of overpayment.
Support the inventory management program by maintaining accurate master inventory records for all site locations, including asset additions, deletions, transfers, relocations, disposals, condition updates, and property accountability changes in accordance with company procedures and applicable property-control requirements.
Coordinate quarterly property inventory audits with site personnel. Validate inventory records, collect site confirmations, update master inventory data, identify discrepancies, and provide required changes, additions, and deletions to the designated property custodian.
Assist with disposal, excess property, and asset retirement activities in accordance with applicable regulations, environmental health and safety requirements, internal procedures, and property accountability standards. Ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
Assist in managing logistics requirements related to site relocations, expansions, consolidations, and closures. Coordinate with facilities, operations, logistics, vendors, property teams, senior managers, and other stakeholders to support equipment movement, inventory updates, procurement needs, and continuity of operations.
Coordinate with logistics departments, vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support order fulfillment, delivery tracking, shipment coordination, issue resolution, and service performance monitoring.
Initiate and support Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes through corporate Global Supply Chain or other approved procurement channels. Assist with collecting requirements, documenting specifications, supporting vendor comparisons, and tracking procurement status through completion.
Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining logistics standard operating procedures, process maps, desk guides, tracking tools, and workflow documentation to improve consistency, compliance, training, and operational efficiency across all supported locations.
Track logistics-related expenditures, purchasing activity, invoice status, and funding utilization to support budget discipline, cost avoidance, financial accuracy, and leadership visibility.
Ensure logistics, procurement, inventory, and property-control activities comply with company policies, contract requirements, quality assurance standards, environmental health and safety expectations, and applicable FAR/FMR-related requirements where relevant.
In the absence of the Senior Logistics Manager, serve as a primary operational point of contact for routine logistics coordination, data requests, vendor follow-up, site communications, status reporting, and issue escalation.
Preform additional tasks as assigned by management, ensuring flexible support to meet evolving business needs and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree
1+ years of experience maintaining databases, spreadsheets, dashboards, tracking logs, or workflow systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review procurement, inventory, invoice, vendor, and logistics data for accuracy and trends.
Ability to reconcile invoices, purchase orders, delivery records, and contract documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables and Vlookup) and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with site personnel, vendors, finance, procurement, facilities, leadership, and government or client stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience shall include property and supply procurement functions

Bachelorβs degree desirable
1+ years of experience supporting logistics, supply chain, procurement, inventory control, property management, or operations in a multi-site environment.
Working knowledge of Deltek and Costpoint highly desirable
