As a Contracts Specialist, your work at Tegria will focus on supporting the organization by managing end-to-end contract processes and driving operational excellence across business workflows. This role drafts, reviews, processes a wide range of contracts, ensures adherence to internal policies, and provides stakeholders with expert guidance on contracting best practices. In parallel, the specialist analyzes contract operations to identify inefficiencies, enhance employee experience, and implement process and policy improvements that strengthen overall service delivery. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong business judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and operational rigor.

Contracts Administration
Draft and maintain contracts including statements of work and amendments within defined turnaround times.
Process contracts for execution using Tegria’s electronic signature platform.
Educate and train stakeholders on contracting processes and requirements.
Translate proposal content into accurate, properly formatted contract language aligned with established processes.
Manage contract organizational protocols, including status tracking, document storage, expiration monitoring, and inbox management.
Review incoming contract requests for completeness and accuracy, confirming details with stakeholders when needed.
Triage and manage incoming work according to defined workflows and priorities.
Apply sound business judgment and provide best-practice guidance to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Ensure contract review, approval, and execution are completed in accordance with company guidelines.
Document contracting processes and update materials to reflect current practices and changes.
Research legal, financial, client relationship and communications to resolve contract-related issues.
Assist with compliance and audit activities, collaborating with other departments to meet all deadlines.
Business Performance
Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, goals, and operational strategies.
Identify employee-experience pain points, inefficiencies, and risks in in the contracting process.
Optimize business performance by implementing enhancements to end-to-end workflows, processes, policies, and technologies for contracting.
Create and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and workflow materials.
Performs other generally related duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for
We expect:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically, 2 – 4 years experience in contract operations or service delivery operations with responsibility for contract processing.
Experience with e-signature systems (e.g., Docusign, Adobe Sign).
Experience in a consulting or professional service organization.
Operation process improvement experience.
Understands common contract formats: Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), amendments, order forms, and confidentiality agreements.
Knows basic contract components: scope, deliverables, timelines, pricing, payment terms, service levels, change control, and termination clauses.
Familiar with consulting-specific contract language and industry norms.
Knows the end-to-end contract lifecycle: request intake, drafting, review, approval, execution, storage, and renewal/expiration management.
Aware of typical bottlenecks and best practices in contract turnaround management.
Knows internal contracting policies, approval matrices, escalation paths, and delegated authority limits.
Understands compliance frameworks common in consulting (e.g., procurement rules, client onboarding requirements, data privacy considerations).
Basic understanding of the impact and significance of basic legal concepts relevant to contracts, such as confidentiality and data protection, indemnification and liability limits, intellectual property ownership, non-solicitation and non-compete provisions (if applicable).
Basic awareness of privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) if applicable to the industry.
Understanding of pricing structures, rate cards, service tiers, and billing models used in consulting.
Understands internal stakeholders’ roles - legal, sales, finance, delivery leaders, project managers - and how contract terms impact each.
Knowledge of negotiation basics, even if not the primary negotiator.
W2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of Tegria
