We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our team and drive customer engagement and growth.

The Role

The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at retaining and engaging existing customers, enhancing their lifetime value and driving revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication: 
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive customer communication strategy to enhance engagement and retention.
    • Partner with product management to communicate the product roadmap to customers, ensuring they understand upcoming features and enhancements.
    • Manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to deliver personalized marketing messages.
  • Cross-Sell and Up-Sell Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within our existing customer base
    • Own the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns that promote additional services and features of our software platform in order to drive influenced revenue.
  • Market Analysis: 
    • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Work with the sales and product teams to highlight white space opportunities and create tailored marketing strategies.
  • Event Planning:
    • Plan and execute customer and partner events, including webinars, workshops and conferences to foster collaboration and feedback
    • Manage the Customer Advisory Board, facilitating meetings and gathering insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Performance Metrics – 
    • Work cross-collaboratively to develop the customer lifecycle.
    • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of customer marketing initiatives and report on performance to senior management 
    • Continuously analyze and optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on customer marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in customer marketing, preferably within the SaaS, fintech, mortgage technology, or financial services companies.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software. (Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
