Job description

Job Overview: 
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Associate to support our finance and executive operations. This role combines bookkeeping, accounts payable management, reporting, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online, financial reporting, vendor management, and executive support, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a fast-paced position suited for someone proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working collaboratively with a remote team.
Core Tasks:
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and reporting
  • Create and provide custom / ad-hoc reporting as needed, including budget-to-actual reports
  • Manage outreach to suppliers / vendors to facilitate on-time payment
  • Manage monthly accounts payable process
  • Properly book and manage expenses and income for accurate reporting
  • Assist with other administrative and personal assistant tasks
  • Assist executives with booking travel, event coordination / logistics, managing inboxes and calendars, etc
  • Assist with other projects as needed
Must-Haves:
  •  3+ years experience in an AR/AP or junior accounting role
  • 2+ years experience with Quickbooks Online for bookkeeping (or similar tool)
  • Proficient knowledge of GAAP / IFRS accounting/reporting
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate - advanced skills in Excel/ Google Sheets skills
  • Familiarity with Slack and Zoom for internal team coordination / communication
  • Ability to work EST
Nice - to - haves:
  •  CPA or similar international education
  • Passion and background working for sustainability-focused companie
  • Experience working as an Executive assistant
