Job description

To strengthen our Sensor Technology Team located in Wietmarschen-Lohne offering flexible working hours and the option for home office we are looking for a

Senior R&D Engineer – Ultrasound & Sensor Systems (all genders welcome)

At Rosenxt, you actively shape the technological evolution of our sensor systems. You systematically expand the application scope of existing and new sensor concepts and unlock their use in demanding, cutting-edge applications – with a strong focus on robustness, accuracy and innovation.

You use your in-depth expertise to advance our key development and innovation projects. Specifically, you will be responsible for the conceptual development and methodologically sound validation of state-of-the-art ultrasonic measurement systems, and for ensuring their reliable operation even under extreme environmental conditions.

As an experienced team player, you work in an interdisciplinary setup with mechanics, electronics and software and take a key role along the entire product development lifecycle – from requirements definition and system architecture through to verification, validation and release. In this way, you make a substantial contribution to the development of technologically advanced and sustainable solutions.

What you can expect

  • You develop and are responsible for the technical conception and realization of the sensor systems throughout the entire development process

  • You translate customer and application requirements into viable system architectures with a focus on ultrasound technologies

  • You derive requirements from the system level down to the component level and transfer them into technical specifications

  • You define, plan and control verification and release tests at system level based on the technical specifications

  • With profound knowledge of relevant development, product and standards landscapes as well as your experience in their practical implementation, you contribute to the overall success of the projects

  • You advise management on technological issues and thus actively help to shape our development roadmap

  • You work closely with an interdisciplinary and international team and together you drive high‑tech solutions for demanding applications forward

What you bring

To become part of the Rosenxt family, you apply your creativity as well as your structured and self‑driven working style in a way that creates value for both the company and your team. You also bring:

  • A master’s degree in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics) and several years of professional experience in the industry (> 5 years)

  • Proven expertise in the field of ultrasound, including relevant methods, signal processing and typical fields of application

  • Profound, broadly based know‑how in established measurement technologies as well as their practical application in sensor systems

  • Several years of experience in the design and optimization of sensor systems – from signal‑to‑noise through to the definition of the interfaces to higher‑level systems

  • Proven ability to transfer requirements from the system level in a structured way to subsystem and component level into concrete technical specifications

  • Ideally, experience in dealing with technical property rights (patents, freedom‑to‑operate, IP monitoring)

  • In‑depth market and technology knowledge for the evaluation of make‑or‑buy decisions

Look forward to

  • Development and career opportunities in a global, innovative and long-term oriented group of companies with family character

  • Flexible working hours, working time accounts and Home Office possible

  • An open corporate culture, where we celebrate success with social events
