Job description

At Break Something, our clients are using digital media marketing to change the world, and we are looking to add talented individuals to our team to bring their campaign goals to life. Our ideal candidate has experience running peer-to-peer texting campaigns and election-cycle experience. Someone who is organized, a quick learner, comfortable working within multiple tight deadlines, and is dedicated to helping Democratic candidates and causes achieve success engaging the hearts and minds of their targets and constituents.

This position requires a high degree of organization, time management, motivation, attention to detail, and an ability to balance competing priorities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with our content teams, senior management, and external vendors to execute peer to peer and broadcast text message programs for fundraising and engagement
  • Coordinate detailed process steps to execute SMS campaigns and manage adjustments as necessary
  • Ensure all creative assets required to execute SMS/MMS campaigns are available in a timely manner
  • Coordinate A/B testing to optimize programs based on performance and client feedback
  • Monitor and prepare reports on SMS campaign performance and ROI, ensuring high success rates
  • Provide support to managers and deliver copy and samples to clients as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Highly analytical, strong organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Self-motivated, resourceful with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Enthusiasm for Democratic politics and causes
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is a must
    Experience with political CRMs (e.g. NGP VAN) and texting platforms (e.g. Scale to Win, Switchboard) is preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak campaign periods.

Benefits

The position is eligible for inclusion in our bargaining unit and is salaried with competitive benefits and paid time off. The negotiated salary band for this position is $58,000 - $66,000 annually.
