As the Associate Director, Program Management, where you will lead and shape project management initiatives for Humana's Wisconsin Market - iCare and Inclusa. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director, Product Management and provide strategic direction and operational oversight for a diverse portfolio, integrating responsibilities for our project management office and our value management office. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining seamless "run the business" operations, supporting ongoing integration efforts, and fostering alignment between business and technology priorities. Main Responsibilities:

o Manage and develop a team of senior level project managers, business system analysts, and product owners.

o Manage the project portfolio and coordinate projects, ensuring understanding of Humana's strategic goals.

o Partner with IT and business stakeholders to facilitate IT budget management and drive IT prioritization consistent with business needs.

o Support Program Increment (PI) planning, ensuring proper intake and prioritization of work in Azure DevOps (ADO).

o Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating with business representatives to ensure effective testing coverage.

o Coordinate closely with Department of Health Services (DHS) and attend all required meetings.

o Drive operationalization of the annual strategic plan in coordination with Market Development and Engagement leadership, maintaining a two-way communication process for reviewing and prioritizing new initiatives.

o Maintain a two-year roadmap for projects to support long-term planning and transparency.

o Ensure compliance with Humana's governance standards and project management best practices.

Required Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree

o 8+ years of progressive program management experience, including PMO leadership, integration, and cross-functional oversight, ideally in healthcare or a related industry.

o 3+ years people management with direct reports

o Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios and lead cross-functional teams.

o Understanding of budgeting, strategic planning, and project management platforms.

o Demonstrated experience with regulatory communications.

o Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

o Must be able to work EST work hours

Preferred Qualifications:

o    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.

o    Master’s degree

o    Experience in managed care, healthcare, or highly regulated environment

o    Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe).

Additional Information:

o Workstyle: Remote Nationwide

o Travel: As business needs dictate (approx. 10%)

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$126,300 - $173,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
