This is initially slated as a 3 month engagement, but the Cloud9 project may extend through the end of the year, which would extend the need for this resource as well.We need a Sr. Level candidate, as this team doesn't have the bandwidth for hand-holding. Please send strong candidates, I am open to seeing candidates above rate if they are Senior resources.This role will be 100% remote and can sit anywhere in the US. Consultants are restricted from accessing Experian data outside US unless it is pre-approved by client in SOW.

Overview
Client is seeking a
Senior Apache Server Engineer to support the final phase of its enterprise-wide cloud
migration project. This short-term role provides critical on-prem Apache server administration to ensure the migration team can extract required configurations, content, and server data. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, self-directed, and capable of rapidly onboarding into a complex legacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support on-prem Apache web servers (staging and production).
- Extract and provide required artifacts for migration teams, including:
- Apache configuration files
- Content files and folder structures
- SSL certificates and related components
- Install and configure AWS MGN (Migration Hub) tools on servers when needed.
- Perform Apache-related troubleshooting and respond quickly to migration team requests.
- Support basic server engineering tasks to maintain stability while systems are lifted from on-prem infrastructure.
- Collaborate with migration engineers and internal application teams as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
Apache & Server Engineering
- Extensive Apache administration experience, including compiling Apache and OpenSSL from source, performing upgrades, and managing configurations on Linux.
