Job description

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Automated Materials handling Test Engineer with experience in warehouse automation systems for a distinguished logistics technology company. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the successful testing, integration, and performance of warehouse software and machinery. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Required:
  • 4+ years of experience testing software in a warehouse automation environment (e.g., conveyors, AGVs, monorails)
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and report software bugs to development teams
  • Working knowledge of software development concepts within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience in a warehouse or industrial environment
Desired:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with custom or proprietary Warehouse Management Software (WMS) solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to commission and integrate new warehouse machinery and software systems
  • Test and validate software functionality during new client implementations, ensuring all integrated systems perform reliably
