Job Description:

  • Aligns document management and electronic medical recording standards with current best practices.
  • Analyzes performance measures data by region, medical group, specialty, practice, and provider to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Identifies and implements document management optimization efforts to support front desk, clinical, and provider workflows.
  • Coordinates and successfully implements improvement and adoption plans.
  • Proactively assesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, and defines necessary process changes.
  • Develops future workflows to improve new or existing solutions, processes, or functionality.
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships within, across, and external to organizational boundaries.
  • Works closely with internal and external teams to research, plan, build, and implement approved projects.
  • Oversees the delivery of solutions and manages risks and issues appropriately.
  • Create and deliver training materials and resources to support operations with document management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Epic experience. Onbase experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge in Healthcare Operations, Information Technology, Practice Operations, Clinical Operations, and Physician Workflow [Required]
• Proficiency in identifying, defining, analyzing, and displaying PE metrics and goals. [Required]
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with all stakeholders, e.g., executive leadership, physicians, managers, and staff [Required]
• Advanced problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills. [Required]
• Experience with leading small groups or projects [Required]
• Strong organizational skills [Required]
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadline constraints. [Required]
• Ability to work with little supervision. [Required]
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team manager/leader. [Required]
• Strong customer service skills [Required]
• Knowledge of/experience with AdventHealth’s document management system. [Preferred]

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:
• in healthcare related field or business or IT

Work Experience:
• 2+ Microsoft Office Suite experience [Required]
• Epic EMR application/implementation experience [Required]
• 3+ experience in the following areas: People Management, Process Optimization, Physician Practice, Operations, and Data Analysis [Required]
• 3+ IT experience {Preferred]
