What you’ll do

The Claims Adjuster is responsible for the adjusting previously paid medical, dental, and/or short-term disability claims in accordance with applicable plan benefits. The Claims Adjuster is also responsible for the completion of claims related special projects as assigned by area management. 

In this role, you’ll also: 

• Adjust/Process claims in accordance with plan benefits
• Maintain quality average of 98%
• Handle adjustment requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Special projects as determined by area management
• Provides assistance to examiners to ensure accurate timely claims processing of adjustments 
• Perform other various tasks that are deemed necessary and equitable by the claims supervisors.

What you bring

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• One to two years’ of HPI claims processing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
