Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00per hr.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Testing Analyst III to support a secure payments initiative involving a vendor-provided behavioral analytics platform. This solution monitors, detects, and alerts on anomalous activity across treasury systems, including ACH, Wire, and RTP transactions.
This project is closely aligned with a treasury management ERP payment solution; however, this role will focus strictly on manual testing for the secure payment's platform.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform manual end-to-end testing of a behavioral analytics and fraud detection platform
• Validate transaction flows across ACH, Wire, and RTP payment systems (e.g., iTreasury)
• Execute testing across API, UI, and integration layers
• Develop and execute manual test cases using a test management tool (e.g., qTest or similar)
• Conduct API testing using Postman
• Write and execute SQL queries in SQL Server (SSMS) for backend validation
• May include querying across multiple tables and validating data relationships
• Validate data mappings, bill-level mappings, and data transformations
• Design and execute positive and negative test scenarios, including edge cases and fraud scenarios
• Manage defects end-to-end using Jira
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify, challenge, and validate requirements

Required Skills:

• 5–7+ years of experience in manual Quality Assurance / Software Testing
• Strong experience with defect management (Jira)
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman) and UI testing
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries (SQL Server / SSMS)
• Ability to query across multiple tables (e.g., joins) as needed
• Experience with integration testing across systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to scrutinize requirements and identify gaps
• Experience designing comprehensive manual test scenarios (positive & negative cases)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing payments systems (ACH, Wire, RTP)
• Background in treasury management or financial services
• Experience with fraud detection or behavioral analytics platforms
• Familiarity with qTest or similar test management tools (e.g., Xray)
• Understanding of data mappings and transformations
