Job description

Mission: Drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities that expand the company's portfolio across U.S. government agencies.
Essential Functions:
  • Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle, from opportunity identification through contract award.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities.
  • Develop and execute win strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting.
  • Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract).
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
  • Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules).
  • Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in IT, cybersecurity, Special Operations, linguistics, intelligence, engineering, logistics, or related fields.
  • Active Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
  • Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and USAspending.
  • Capture management and/or proposal development experience.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APMP).
