Job description

Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Bethesda, MD (Remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Seeking for a Full-Stack DevOps Engineer with a passion for new technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript experience and be proficient in deploying Node/JavaScript applications in an AWS/EKS environment. Familiarity with Kafka streaming is a plus. This role requires handling complex full-stack projects, scalable databases, API integrations, and cloud environments. Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Requirements:

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Harness)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/EKS)
Experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration
Knowledge of event streaming systems, particularly Kafka
Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL databases
Experience with Web Sockets and GraphQL Subscriptions for real-time data communication
Proficiency in Git and version control
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work in an agile development environment
