Job description
Our Client, an American Software as a Service company, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst 4 for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
SAP is integrating SAP Client into its internal CRM and associated systems. SAP Client’s current CRM is Salesforce with many dozens of ancillary systems attached to it.
SAP Client also uses Salesforce and Tableau for most reporting, although some ancillary systems also provide information needed to run the business (e.g., Gainsight and others).
This role’s primary functions will be to inventory the most critical SAP Client reports and data used in the business, inventory dimensions used to filter said reports and data, seek equivalent or near-equivalent reporting within SAP systems, perform a gap analysis between SAP Client reporting needs and SAP available reporting, work with technical report developers on plans to close reporting gaps, and partner with the integration project change management team to determine how best to train SAP Client colleagues on SAP reporting tools and reports.
Requirements:
Ability to collect business and data requirements from existing SAP Client stakeholders for eventual use in SAP Business Data Cloud / SAC Reporting tools
Map key measures, dimensions, and data attributes to the source tables in the CRM system(s)
Data validation, use case development, and report testing experience
Confidence to work with all parts of the business and all levels of colleagues (including executives), while also potentially arbitrating the true needs of each team regarding reporting and data
The ability to assess reporting priorities relative to the overall project timeline and prioritize work accordingly
Ideally, at least three years of experience doing report scoping efforts described here
Significant experience with a large organization
Knowledge of Client or SAP reporting and reporting tools a strong plus
Independent business thinking required i.e. the ability to conceptualize how reporting and information would flow through an entire business entity to anticipate needs, gaps, issues, etc.
Very strong communication skills verbal and written
Very strong organization skills and attention to detail
