Job description

Position Summary:

The Specialist I, Title IX and ADA supports the administration of Title IX and ADA processes for Nightingale College, serving as a frontline resource for learners and collaborators navigating accommodation and resolution pathways. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining a learner-centered approach to case management and stakeholder communication.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the administration of ADA and Title IX processes for the College.
  • Administers case management for accommodation requests, including complex eligibility interpretation.
  • Interprets and ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Title IX and ADA.
  • Serves as a point of contact for Title IX and ADA related inquiries and escalations.
  • Communicates with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure cooperative relationships and effective administration.
  • Supports the Conduct and Learner dispositional administration as needed under the direction of the Ethics Office.
  • Prepares reports, manuals, and correspondence related to Title IX and ADA administration.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Required:

  • Experience in Learner Support Services, specifically in Learner Conduct.
  • Knowledge of Title IX and ADA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with case management systems.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$28$31 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
