Job description

We are high growth company seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to align our revenue-generating departments. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of how to create revenue strategies and implement them across various channels.

The CRO will work to achieve our ambitious growth objectives and ensure the alignment and efficient collaboration of all revenue-related departments including sales, marketing, customer support, pricing, and service. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and driving revenue and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial revenue strategies according to company goals and objectives to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead revenue-generating departments and teams including sales, key account management, marketing, and customer service
  • Align the company’s revenue operations across all departments
  • Identify new market and revenue opportunities and set strategic directions and develop plans to target and capture these opportunities for revenue growth
  • Collaborate with executive leadership team to set revenue goals and strategy
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Present revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the executive team
  • Analyze business trends and market conditions to forecast revenue potential
  • Design and implement plans to increase customer retention rates
  • Develop and implement robust sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Oversee the sales team, setting quotas, and ensuring targets are met
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, industry partners, and stakeholders
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
  • Lead and mentor marketing teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with revenue goals
  • Establish and implement pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with the finance department to budget and track revenue performance
  • Working closely with customer service to improve customer satisfaction and revenue generation

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques
  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing, finance, or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus
