Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant to join our SAP S/4HANA implementation project during the design phase. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules and play a key role in solution design, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment activities.
This role requires strong business process knowledge, hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver enterprise-scale finance transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a core team member of the SAP FICO workstream for the S/4HANA implementation project.
• Lead and participate in design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Conduct Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard workshops with finance and controlling stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Design and configure SAP FICO modules, including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • Bank Management
• Align finance processes with SAP S/4HANA innovations such as:
  • Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
  • New Asset Accounting
  • Central Finance concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, HR, Basis, ABAP, Security, and Fiori teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
• Work with third-party systems and interfaces including Banks, Concur, CyberSource, and other external platforms.
• Lead finance data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and go-live activities.
• Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support.
• Provide guidance on SAP best practices, process optimization, and S/4HANA-specific capabilities.
• Support financial reporting, profitability reporting, CO-PA analysis, and management reporting requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO)
  • Financial Accounting (FI)
  • Controlling (CO)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Management
• Expertise in integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
• Experience managing full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of:
  • IFRS / GAAP accounting standards
  • Financial closing processes
  • Cost management and controlling processes
• Experience with:
  • Data migration strategies and execution
  • Functional specification development
  • Testing and deployment activities
  • Interface and integration design
• Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
• Experience with Central Finance and Fiori applications is a plus.
• Previous consulting experience in large enterprise transformation projects preferred.
• Experience working in hybrid or global delivery environments.

Desired Experience

• 8+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation project experience.
• Proven expertise in finance transformation and process optimization initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
