Job description

Job Title: Technical Product Owner
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define scalable solutions aligned with workflow modernization goals and program objectives.
  • Create, refine, and maintain epics, features, and user stories for workflow-driven applications and backend services.
  • Manage and prioritize team and program backlogs to ensure readiness for PI Planning and sprint execution.
  • Partner with Scrum Masters and Delivery Leads to prioritize deliverables and remove blockers.
  • Define detailed acceptance criteria and validate completed user stories at the end of each sprint cycle.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity around workflows, integrations, APIs, and non-functional requirements.
  • Support workflow orchestration and automation initiatives by ensuring solutions meet business and technical expectations.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst supporting enterprise software initiatives.
  • Strong ability to quickly understand and adapt to complex business domains; Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, structured technical and functional documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with workflow orchestration and workflow modeling platforms such as Appian.
  • Familiarity with system modeling and enterprise integration concepts.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, JSON, XML, and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Exposure to AI tooling and workflow automation technologies.
  • Experience supporting backend service integrations and enterprise-scale applications.
