Industrial Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities

  • Execute the full sales cycle using a consultative sales approach

  • Create and deliver tailored proposals based on client needs

  • Identify and recommend new product opportunities based on market demand

Territory & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end users

  • Manage and support manufacturer representatives to maximize territory performance

  • Represent the company professionally across all client interactions

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Provide ongoing feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends

  • Contribute to sales strategy, budgeting, and trade show planning

  • Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to drive innovation and improvements

Operational Execution

  • Accurately document all sales activities in CRM systems

  • Support marketing initiatives and industry events

  • Assist with forecasting and annual planning

  • Resolve customer issues related to product quality and support


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience

  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing sales environments

  • Strong understanding of consultative sales processes

  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently


Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales management or manufacturer rep management experience

  • Experience in HVAC, industrial ventilation, or textile-related industries

  • Strong analytical and data reporting capabilities

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
