About the Role
This role sits at the center of the product development lifecycle, serving as the critical link between business stakeholders and the technical scrum teams responsible for delivering Salesforce-based solutions. The Salesforce Product Owner will manage the full arc of project work from initial requirements gathering through final deployment, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and consistently communicated. Day-to-day, the role involves grooming and maintaining a healthy product backlog, facilitating sprint planning, and making real-time decisions to keep delivery on track. This is an ideal position for someone who combines a strong grasp of Salesforce platform fundamentals with the interpersonal skills needed to align diverse groups around shared goals. Success in this role requires someone comfortable managing ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and driving outcomes across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional stakeholders and scrum teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including project personnel and end users throughout all phases of a project
• Define and initiate project scope, outlining key objectives and success criteria from the outset
• Develop and maintain documentation templates, document control policies, and change management processes
• Keep a current working knowledge of all active projects at varying stages of completion
• Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure alignment
• Track project progress, identify risks or blockers, and implement adjustments to keep work on schedule
• Partner with the Scrum Master to regularly groom and prioritize the product backlog and user stories
• Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and functional objectives
• Prepare and deliver project status reports and escalate issues to management and stakeholders as needed
• Uphold adherence to best practices, standard operating procedures, and PMO governance requirements
• Own the full project lifecycle from requirements definition through deployment in partnership with the scrum team

• 3 or more years of experience in a project management or product ownership role
• Hands-on familiarity with Azure DevOps as a project management platform
• Solid understanding of core project management principles and methodologies
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and time management capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of the Salesforce platform backend and its underlying architecture
• Ability to build productive relationships and collaborate across teams with competing priorities

• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment as a Product Owner or Scrum team member
• Familiarity with change management frameworks and enterprise documentation practices
• Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented when managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
• Strong executive presence with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
• Natural curiosity and initiative when it comes to identifying process improvements
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst are a plus
