Job Title

QA Senior Manager / Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Senior Manager to lead the Quality Assurance function across multiple products and teams. The ideal candidate will drive quality strategy, test automation initiatives, process improvements, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QA teams including manual and automation testers.
  • Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams.
  • Drive automation framework adoption and continuous testing initiatives.
  • Monitor QA metrics, test coverage, and release quality.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC/STLC processes.
  • Mentor team members and conduct performance reviews.
  • Identify process gaps and implement quality improvements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, risk assessment, and production readiness reviews.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation tools like:
  • Experience with API testing tools:
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines:
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools:
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–15+ years of QA experience.
  • 3–5+ years in QA leadership/management roles.
  • Experience managing distributed or cross-functional teams preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance and security testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like:
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or product-based companies.
