Job description

We are looking for a temporary maternity cover who will join our GCX Platforms & Automation team in a hybrid role: approximately 50% Scrum Master for our platform team and 50% project manager owning selected initiatives.

In the role of Platforms & Automation Consultant you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will help a small, highimpact team deliver platform improvements and automations for our global customer experience organisation. We care more about pragmatic accountability around deliveries than a dogmatic agile SCRUM approach, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in that space.

The team you will be part of:

You will be part of the Global Customer Experience function, where the Platforms & Automation team operates with platform ownership of our customer engagement platforms and process implementations. We aspire to positively impact the customer experience through platform innovation and process improvements. The team is mostly remote and is based across Europe and North America, while some stakeholders will be present at HQ in Ballerup, from where this role is based.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Project Management (≈50%) – Own and deliver projects

  • Plan and manage projects with clear scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Drive initiatives end-to-end, coordinating stakeholders across teams.

  • Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and document implementations.

  • Prioritize tasks independently and communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly.

  • Improve project management processes and playbooks.

Scrum Master (≈50%) – Support team delivery and agile practices

  • Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Share accountability for team deliverables and ensure work is well-prepared for sprints.

  • Support backlog, capacity, and resource planning in Monday.com.

  • Continuously improve agile processes, reporting, and planning accuracy.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Are an experienced Scrum Master.

  • Have project management experience for small to mid-sized projects.

  • May have experience as a Zendesk administrator and/or previous work with automating processes and implementing nocode / lowcode automation tools.

  • Have strong skills in structuring work, planning, followup and documentation.

  • Are highly organized and detailoriented, with a handson, “make it happen” mindset.

  • Have accountability for outcomes.

  • Are a selfstarter who is comfortable challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.

  • Are a strong communicator in English, both written and spoken, able to work with stakeholders across different regions, cultures and seniority levels.

  • Are both process and resultdriven: you value good practices, but you’re willing to adapt them to achieve outcomes.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.

We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.

Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting invitation to interview.
