About us

We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-BiaΕ‚a in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge.

We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on an unannounced project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing animation-related features in the editor, using built-in engine systems and our game-specific systems.

  • Working with both asset-based features and procedural animation systems (i.e. Control Rig).

  • Cooperating with animation, gameplay and cinematic departments.

  • Requesting features from engineering teams (programmers, DevOps, Automated QA).

  • R&D of new technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in the Game Industry or equivalent.

  • Professional experience with the interactive animation systems.

  • Ability to implement logic using Blueprints.

  • Experience with skeletal mesh rigging and skinning in Maya.

  • Keeping up with technological nuances in the field of animation.

  • Ability to come up with solutions and solve problems as they arise.

  • Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback.

  • Excellent communication skills and eager to work in a group.

  • Fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Python or other programming languages.

  • Experience as a Rigger is a plus.
