We’re currently seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our high-performing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large, multi-location workforce.

Location: Medford, OR (on-site)

Compensation Range: $21.65-31.25/hr, with a typical starting range of $23.00/hr. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

What You’ll Do: 

Worker Changes & Employee Data Management:

  • Verify and maintain accurate employee information, including new hires, rehires, transfers, position changes, and pay rate updates
  • Process off-cycle payroll checks and employee terminations in a timely manner

Payroll Processing:

  • Process payroll for 750–1,000 employees depending on payroll frequency
  • Collect and validate payroll data from store locations
  • Run payroll data retrieval and calculation processes
  • Import payroll data into Workday and review reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Audit payroll registers to identify and resolve missing information or calculation discrepancies
  • Ensure store payrolls are finalized and confirmed in accordance with processing deadlines
  • Post store general ledgers (G/Ls) and maintain accurate payroll documentation
  • Update shared tracking logs including payroll confirmations, register approvals, and payroll exceptions
  • Scan and maintain required payroll documentation following each payroll cycle
  • Complete month-end account reviews for assigned stores by the fourth business day of each month
  • Collect and maintain standard pay plans while updating payroll calculation details as needed
  • Conduct audits and data reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity within Workday reporting
