Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience managing technology applications and/or platforms, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams and delivering successful technology projects
  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Productivity suite (Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Outlook/Exchange, OneDrive, EntraID, MS Office, M365 Copilot, Forms) with familiarity with PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, and Planner
  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe) and IT service management (ITIL) with strong communication and stakeholder influence

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that drive application and platform performance, utility, and adoption while aligning with the organization’s mission
  • Ensure high standards of quality, performance, and security; manage the technology project and software licensing budget; oversee vendor management and continuous service improvements
  • Partner with Product Owner, Microsoft administrators, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution, alignment, and data-driven continuous improvement (KPIs)

Manager, Enterprise Applications - Microsoft Productivity (Remote)

 

The Manager, Enterprise Applications, leads a team of IT professionals responsible for development, configuration, administration, optimization and support of Microsoft Productivity application suite This includes the technology platform and application suite, including governance of user identities and secure access to systems. Expertise in the platform to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of collaborative and productivity enhancing solutions across the organization and enhancing solutions across the organization. 

 

The Manager role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience; for streamlined processes and stable operations; for managing vendors; for developing a culture of and skills in process improvement; for proper documentation; and for staff training, performance and development. 

 

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions 

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Productivity suite applications expected and include; Teams, Sharepoint, Viva Engage, Outlook + Exchange, OneDrive, EntraID, MS Office, M365 CoPilot and Forms Helpful to have PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI and Planner knowledge. 

  • Experience in technology solutions, development processes and best practices related to platform and identity management. 

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that drive application and platform performance, utility and adoption. 

  • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. 

  • Support and champion a strategic technology vision that aligns with JAX's mission, incorporating comprehensive industry and functional insights. Understand business needs, proactively introducing innovative ideas, and anticipating future trends to drive the organization forward. 

  • Continuously improve service management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in technology delivery. Ensure that all technology solutions meet high standards of quality, performance, and security. 

  • Manage the budget for technology projects and software licensing, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective delivery. 

  • Partner closely with Product Owner and stakeholders, Microsoft administrators, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure high quality execution and alignment.  Quality execution and alignment. 

  • Analyze user behavior, feedback, and adoption data to identify opportunities to enhance productivity and collaboration across the organization. 

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of technology initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities (e.g. tech modernization and currency) based on detailed assessment and analysis of current technology footprint. 

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Demonstrated experience managing technology applications and/or platforms, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams and delivering successful technology projects. 

  • Experience leading small of varying complexity. 

  • Experience with product owning one or more projects. 

  • Ability to influence and foster buy-in at all levels. 

  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and listening to various levels across the organization. 

  • Ability to gain broad understanding of overall application management roadmaps and related strategies. 

  • Working knowledge of Agile Frameworks, preferably Scrum and/or SAFe as well as IT service management, preferably ITIL 

  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 

Pay range: $98,885.00 - $165,554.00
