TekRecruiter has been asked to recruit Strong and Senior Node.js Engineers to join a growing Software Engineering team building revolutionary software products that will positively impact the world.


Quick Summary About the Position:

  • Sr. Node.js Engineer
  • Full Time (Looking for long term core team partners)
  • 100% Remote (Anywhere in the US)
  • Salary: $130K to 200K + Bonus (depending on experience and technical aptitude)

Job Description:

  •  Develop cutting-edge software products from conception to completion, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. The software engineer will be able to work closely with the Product Management team to fully understand and even gather requirements as needed.
  • Work as a natural problem solver who can take initiative and who has the ambition to become a leader. This person works with full Autonomy and likes it that way while being able to ask the necessary questions when to create solutions
  • You will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models
  • Work on an Agile team that will practice Scrum or Kanban depending on the product being built
  • The Developer does 80% Backed Development and 20% frontend development.

MUST haves & IDEAL Experience

·         Must have at least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering. This developer MUST be strong with the ability to understand not just how to use a framework or a program language but rather the fundamentals of solving software engineering/algorithmic problems.

·         MUST have solid and recent backend experience with Node.js. The ability to demonstrate proficiency across other backend program languages including Node.Js is an example of the Ideal Developer. A developer where the backend language doesn’t matter as they understand backend software engineering in its entirety is the caliber candidate we are looking for.

·         MUST have the ability to built APIs from scratch as well as authenticate and secure those APIs. This is not a position for someone who has only consumed an API.

·         MUST have experience with AWS. Their environment is deeply engrained within AWS, alternative cloud experience will still pose a large learning curve.

·         Must be able to develop frontend solutions with either Angular or React (20% of development work).
