Proficiency in using Xero for bookkeeping and accounting tasks
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll using Xero
Strong ability to perform bank reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and analyze financial performance
Understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies; ability to maintain compliance

Job description
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Xero to perform a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Accurately record, reconcile, and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment between bank statements and financial records.
• Prepare, generate, and analyze financial reports through Xero to provide insights into the company’s financial performance and overall financial health.
• Monitor and manage expense reports while ensuring compliance with approved budgets and company policies.
• Process payroll accurately and efficiently using Xero.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company procedures.
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and management teams.
• Investigate, resolve, and follow up on discrepancies or issues related to financial records in a timely manner.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks as required to support the finance team.
