Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth across Singapore and India; own revenue targets and penetrate target sectors (corporates, MNCs, ESG-driven firms)
  • Lead strategic sales (consultative selling): engage client POCs (C-suite, HR leaders, DI/ESG teams); position offerings in diversity inclusion programs, culture transformation, and leadership capability building; lead full sales cycle with consultants supporting proposal and closing
  • Grow and manage client relationships: enable consultants to grow long-term partnerships, engage current clients, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across consulting and training engagements
  • Develop market development and partnerships: create go-to-market strategies for India expansion, build partnerships with ecosystem players (ESG networks, industry bodies), and represent Dignitea at conferences and thought leadership events; feed market insights into service offerings

Job Description

Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand Dignitea’s presence across India and Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who can sell consulting, transformation, and culture change services to senior stakeholders, and is passionate about inclusion, social impact, and organisational transformation.


Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
•Drive new business development across Singapore and India
•Own and deliver revenue targets for consulting services
•Identify and penetrate target sectors (e.g., corporates, MNCs, ESG-driven firms)


2. Strategic Sales (Consultative Selling)
•Engage client POCs: C-suite, HR leaders, D&I leaders, ESG, transformation teams.
•Position Dignitea’s offerings in:
oDiversity & Inclusion programs
oCulture transformation
oLeadership capability building
oLead full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → proposal → closing. Our consultants will support in providing proposal and closing.


3. Client Relationship & Account Growth
•Enable consultants to grow long-term partnerships with key clients
•Engage current clients
•Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across consulting and training engagements


4. Market Development
•Develop go-to-market strategies for India expansion
•Build partnerships with ecosystem players (ESG networks, industry bodies)
•Represent Dignitea at conferences, panels, and thought leadership events

5.Collaboration & Insight
•Provide client insight for consulting/delivery teams to shape client solutions
•Feed market insights into service offerings and positioning

Qualifications

Requirements


Experience:
•5-10 years in B2B sales, with business development component
•Strong experience in one or more:
oConsulting / professional services
oD&I, HR solutions, L&D, or ESG-related services
oProven ability to sell to senior stakeholders (HR, ESG, C-suite)
oExperience in India market.


Skills & Capabilities:
•Strong consultative selling
•Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
•Able to design professional presentations
•Able to write success case studies
•Entrepreneurial and self-driven (early-stage company mindset)
Preferred (Nice to Have):
•Experience in Singapore and other SEA markets
•Diversity & Inclusion / ESG / sustainability
•Change management or organisational development
•Existing network with HR leaders or corporate decision-makers in Singapore/India


Location & Travel: Bangalore, India. This is a remote role requiring a motivated individual. Travel to meet clients in Bangalore, and some travel within India is expected.
