Roles & Responsibilities

  • Completed degree in business administration, economics, or computer science (or a comparable degree) with a professional focus on finance or logistics.
  • 7+ years of experience in S/4HANA implementation, system conversion, or landscape transformation.
  • Minimum four full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations/rollouts with enterprise architecture and data migration experience.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial; proven experience in SAP Advisory, Pre-Sales and Solutioning; familiar with SAP Activate Methodology.

Requirements:

  • Opportunity Analysis: Understand client context and requirements (pre-RFP, RFP, proposal, post-RFP); create cohesive S/4HANA solutions and proposals; validate opportunities by mapping business challenges and current architecture to NTT’s capabilities.
  • Solution Design and Development: Provide deep SAP S/4HANA technical understanding; shape the target architecture and roadmap; develop S/4HANA greenfield, rollouts, and conversions; define all elements of the solution model (scope, architecture, schedule, delivery model, staffing, risk, proposal) and prepare roadmaps using SAP tools (HANA Readiness Check, Pathfinder, DVM).
  • Solution/Project Delivery: Oversee implementation and upgrades of S4HANA; manage deliverables across functional teams; ensure requirements and BPML, enterprise structure, and business process designs meet objectives; build relationships with executives, SMEs, and external networks; lead cross-geography delivery and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs; contribute to NTT’s Global Capability Offering.
  • Team Leadership and Delivery Excellence: Build, develop, and lead the SAP Data Technology team in Lithuania; manage capacity, seniority, and skills; mentor team members; ensure delivery excellence; embed in SAP DACH organization and align with portfolio SAP Transformation; travel as required.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

You will be joining the SAP team in Lithuania, which comprises approximately 20 consultants, and will be a part of the broader SAP DACH organization with around 180 experienced professionals. The focus of this team is to deliver cutting-edge SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored for clients in the manufacturing and automotive industries.

This project represents a significant opportunity to drive digital transformation, as you will lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions while building a talented team of SAP consultants in Lithuania. The organization emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and excellence in delivering impactful results for global clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will build the SAP consulting team in Lithuania, design and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions mainly for the manufacturing and Automotive industry: 

  • In your projects you will act as solution architect in SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or conversions). You identify operational gaps and develop solution options using best practice methods while considering customer application landscapes, including partial or full project leadership in all phases of the SAP project life cycle. You are responsible for communication with different stakeholders regarding innovative IT strategies and take on the professional leadership of functional streams. You create holistic architectures considering business processes as part of transformation projects on SAP S/4HANA 

  • As Team lead you will have the responsibility for the selection, development, and guidance of the SAP Data & Technology team in Lithuania. You build and maintain the team with regards to capacity, seniority, and skills. You guide and develop your team members in their professional career. You are responsible for the utilization and the delivery excellence of the team. 

You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Opportunity Analysis 

  • Understand the client context and requirements (pre-RFP, RFP, Proposal, post RFP) 

  • You must have deep expertise in creating and delivering a cohesive solution across multiple modules of S4HANA, expertise in the S/4Hana Cloud roadmap, including RISE. You must be able to apply this expertise to create proposals (Bids) and to oversee, improve and upgrade client enterprise systems and services 

  • Validate opportunities by understanding the business challenges, current technology architecture and scope of work and how it matches to NTT’s capability and offering strategy 

 

Solution Design and Development 

  • Provide strong technical understanding of the SAP product with the ability to discuss, and demonstrate the full platform solution 

  • Understand the roadmap for S/4 HANA and become a trusted advisor for clients in driving their S/4 HANA direction, adoption of S/4HANA products 

  • Develop the solution (S/4HANA greenfield implementation, rollouts, pure conversion, mix of conversion and greenfield, Next Generation SAP Application Management Services) by shaping, interpreting, and helping to define client requirements to ensure they address business goals 

  • Define all elements of a solution model in detail including 

  • Scope of services  

  • The target architecture 

  • Project schedule & roadmap 

  • Delivery Model & staffing estimates including role, location, level, and capacity 

  • Risk catalogue and mitigation plan 

  • Proposal writeup 

  • Strong ability to detail IT infrastructure improvements and prepare a Tactical Roadmap, including the use of SAP standard tools (HANA Readiness Check, Pathfinder Reports, DVM reports) 

  • Prepare a Roadmap in collaboration with other colleagues. 

 

Solution/Project Delivery 

  • Oversee implementation, improvements, upgrading of S4HANA solutions as per Industry best practices 

  • Define and manage the deliverables of all functional teams to meet engagement objectives and budget 

  • Review project deliverables e.g., benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML), business process design document to ensure they meet project objectives 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME, and a network of professional organizations or affiliations 

  • Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts, appropriately tailored for the client and their culture 

  • Estimate total effort for delivery across multiple application teams 

  • Work with teams located across multiple geographies 

  • Lead business requirements discussions with customer to Implement S/4 HANA solution 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design SAP solutions that meet business requirements. This involves understanding the organization’s goals, processes, and existing systems. 

  • Contribute to NTT’s Global Capability Offering 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed degree in business administration, economics, or computer science or a comparable degree program with a professional focus on finance or logistics 

  • Fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial. 

  • You are familiar with the SAP product portfolio and have successfully applied SAP Best Practice solutions and the Activate Methodology 

  • Proven experience of SAP Advisory, Pre-Sales and Solutioning   

  • 7+ years of experience in S/4 HANA Implementation / System Conversion / Landscape Transformation 

  • Minimum four full lifecycle implementations / roll outs & support experience S/4 HANA Enterprise Architecture and data migration 

  • Thorough understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the ability to research & apply business best practices 

  • Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status, and deliverables with senior executives 

  • Experience and knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology 

  • Must have proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role 

  • Strong technical / analytical expertise and project management skills 

  • Effective leadership and motivation abilities 

  • Proven experience in consultative solution building and delivery 

  • Experience in project/program management 

  • Certification in S/4 HANA, and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus 

  • You are fluent in English (both spoken and written), German skills are beneficial. 

  • Experience in creating architectural models and visual representations 

  • High customer orientation, service attitude, and business acumen 

  • Proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong writing, mentoring, decision making, and meeting facilitation skills 

  • Ability to coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services 

  • We expect travel readiness and communication skills with different stakeholders 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work. 

  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
