Position Overview

The role is responsible for software procurement and sourcing, including managing contracts, conducting vendor evaluations, and supporting license and material management. The position ensures transparent handling of software acquisitions and maintains compliance with internal processes and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct request for quotations (RFQs), basic market research, and organize the software material portfolio, including contract assignments.
  • Independently prepare and conduct negotiations with a focus on pricing and commercial terms.
  • Draft and review standard software contracts, including checking terms and conditions, and manage correspondence with suppliers.
  • Process maintenance extensions and software licenses in collaboration with relevant departments, including creation of material numbers.
  • Support follow-up procurement activities, such as successive contracts, supply agreements, or software transfers.
  • Prepare and conduct supplier evaluations and present results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • German: C1, English: B1.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or comparable vocational training; alternatively, a recognized IT apprenticeship or minimum of 5 years professional experience in the IT field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software procurement, IT purchasing, or license management.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with EU-wide procurement processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management processes.
