Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scala (essential)
  • Play Framework (based on Pekko)
  • Databases: MySQL and Redis, with SQL optimization (indexing, performance tuning, profiling)
  • Cloud/DevOps experience with AWS, CI/CD, Git, and Pull Request workflows

Requirements:

  • Design and develop scalable backend systems in Scala using Play Framework (Pekko)
  • Implement and optimize access to MySQL and Redis databases, including SQL performance tuning and profiling
  • Collaborate on architecture of large-scale distributed systems and AWS-based DevOps/CI/CD practices
  • Participate in code reviews, Git workflows, production deployments, and monitoring with dashboards and alerts

  • Scala (imprescindible)

    • Scala 2.13

    • Colecciones, Futures, inmutabilidad, pattern matching

  • Backend

    • Play Framework (basado en Pekko)

    • Diseño y desarrollo de sistemas backend escalables

  • Bases de datos

    • MySQL

    • Redis

    • Optimización SQL (índices, performance tuning, profiling)

  • Cloud

    • Experiencia con servicios AWS

  • DevOps

    • CI/CD

    • Git y flujos de Pull Request

Experiencia valorable

  • Squeryl o Doobie

  • Grafana / Kibana (monitorización, dashboards, alertas)

  • Sistemas distribuidos a gran escala

  • Experiencia en Play / Pekko en entornos productivos

Requisitos de experiencia

  • Perfil Senior

  • Mínimo 4 años de experiencia, valorable 5–6+ años

Idiomas

  • Inglés imprescindible
